As this holiday season approaches its inevitable highlight and the distinct laughter of a certain fat man in his red overalls echoes in the distance, we here at LudoCraft decided it was time to give our little present to all the gamers around the world. So here it is:
AIRBUCCANEERS HD PRE-ALPHA! FREE FOR ALL!
Yes, AirBuccaneers HD has now reached the Pre-Alpha phase and is available for playing. It is still work in progress, though, and all your feedback is highly valuable for us. There are still graphics, sounds, features and effects missing, but we hope that it quenches your thirst for buccaneering and plundering for now. Download the Pre-Alpha build (only for Windows at the moment) here and please give us feedback in our forums or via e-mail.

Pretty impressed so far, its obvious its still really early but you seem to have implemented basically all the main mechanics plus some new ones without focusing too much on content. That is exactly how you need to do an alpha as adding content later is much easier than changing the mechanics.
Yea definitely looks like it’s gonna be a major upgrade to ABU. I love the clouds and the new engine overall. Can you guys port the old airbuccs sound effects and ambient sounds? They are really missed.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT airbuccaneers is being remade! HAPPINESS HAPPINESS JOY JOY! I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate this, the original was awesome but the abandonment of the project was a very, very sad thing…
